Location

We intentionally chose Dresden as the location for our business.

The Saxon state capital is a nationally and internationally recognized center for modern lightweight construction. The city is home to numerous partners from the fields of industry, university and non-university research. This includes more than 2,500 material scientists and engineers, working at Dresden University of Technology and the numerous Fraunhofer and Leibniz institutes, for example. The high ratio of experts enables close collaboration over short distances.

In addition, Dresden is a renowned center for transport sciences, and in particular for rail vehicle research. Since 2019, the German Center for Rail Traffic Research (Deutsches Zentrum für Schienenverkehrsforschung, DZSF) has been headquartered here, as an independent, technical-scientific departmental research facility of the German Federal Government.
